Everyone Knows for Furniture - High Point!

The words have been linked together for nearly 100 years, perhaps longer - furniture and High Point, North Carolina. While the first furniture manufacturing began here in the mid-1800s, the first Furniture Market wasn't held in High Point until 1909. Today, the Spring and Fall High Point Furniture Markets attract as many as 85,000 attendees. At each market, manufacturers show their newest product lines. Like the spring and fall fashion shows, many trends are established at market.

Many of the showrooms are only open during market periods. But Stickley has had a year-round showroom here since the 1980s, displaying the finest Stickley furniture. High Point is home to one of our showrooms that carry only the name "Stickley", because the North Elm Street location's primary purpose is to showcase Stickley products. This showroom nicely complements our newest North Carolina store for furniture. Charlotte is home to a showroom that features an exciting and informative display of Stickley furniture.

The expansive High Point showroom spreads out over two beautifully appointed floors, and is a full-service furniture store, with oriental rugs, accessories, and, of course, free home decorating consultations.

Our brand new showroom in Charlotte is truly state-of-the-art, and it takes furniture shopping to an entirely new level. With multiple historical Stickley displays juxtaposed against a thoroughly unique and modern setting, shopping just got a lot more interesting when it comes to furniture! Charlotte is home to what we refer to as our prototype store for the future.

Interactive displays throughout the store explain exactly how Stickley furniture is made, and demonstrate the construction features which constitute the "Stickley Difference." When you visit the design center located in the center of the store, our sales associates will be able to help you furnish and decorate every room in your home. As you walk through the store, be sure to read all of the "Stickley Stories" submitted by our customers and displayed on the walls. Some are amusing, some are touching, and all are heartfelt.

When people think of North Carolina and furniture, High Point is usually the first place that comes to mind. But the state's largest city, Charlotte, often included in national "best places to live" lists, is a city with its own sense of style, and now it's home to an equally stylish Stickley showroom.
