A Classic - the Stickley Mission Bookcase

There are a variety of Stickley bookcase models available, and many are authentic reproductions from Gustav and Leopold Stickley's original designs. Some have been modified slightly to accommodate modern homes and lifestyles. Perhaps no other furniture item available evokes the character of Craftsman style as much as the legendary Stickley Mission bookcase.

Some Stickley bookcases have open shelves, some have one, two or three doors. Some bookcases reach toward the ceiling, and some are less substantial in size, but no less beautiful. Stickley even offers oak barrister bookcases with up to four lifting doors with a choice of wood or glass fronts.

For the discerning fan of Mission Oak furniture, the first item in their collection is often a Stickley bookcase. Stickley introduced a very special Mission piece in 2008 to honor the 150th birthday of Gustav Stickley. The Gus Commemorative Bookcase (model #89-0510) features a heavily corbelled base and unique arched frames around the top glass panes in the doors.
